The Research Triangle Park (RTP) was created in the 1950s as a regional center for research, innovation, jobs, and economic development. Today leaders are innovating to address Traffic, Crime, Sustainability and Economic Development challenges across political boundaries Solving these challenges will require a collaborative approach between agencies and jurisdictions. In this session, panelists explored the challenges and opportunities of creating a regional approach for Smart Connected Communities and how Smart Connected RTP will continue to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors while driving economic development.
